Come, explore poetry as a doorway into prayer. As we enter into sacred space, we will pay attention to the beauty and anguish of human life through the lens of God’s Mercy. We will be guided in our reflection by religious poets, in particular Jessica Powers, John of the Cross, and Therese of Lisieux. There will be ample opportunity to relish poetry, to pay attention to life, to “patch a few words together” in our own expression of prayer and to enter into silence in which Another voice may speak.
