Pope Francis has written us all a letter,
“On the Proclamation of the Gospel in Today’s World,”
inviting us to “a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ which at the same time commits us to serving others.”
He desires that we become true evangelizers, attracting others to Christ by our joy, our love, our welcoming, and our mercy in every activity we undertake.
Francis leads us in discerning what reforms are needed in our culture and in our Church that we may bring Jesus Christ to our world today.
Our Lenten Retreat will include:
- Teaching on the content of Francis’ letter – by Sister Barbara Breaud
- Art experiences to express and deepen our appreciation of Francis’ words – led by Sister Catherine Martin
- Prayer experiences flowing from Francis’ challenge to us led by Sister Terry Falco
Registration: 5 – 7 p.m., Friday evening (no Friday evening meal)
Accomodations: 2 nights with a private room, 3 meals Saturday and Sunday breakfast, Sunday Eucharist. Art Materials will be provided
