jameskofiannanInternational human rights advocate James Kofi Annan will talk about modern day slavery and his experiences as a forced child laborer. Annan is the founder of Challenging Heights, a non-profit organization in Ghana, dedicated to the eradication of child slavery. He was recently awarded the World’s Children’s Prize for his continuous efforts to stop child slavery. Annan’s personal story is featured in Survivors of Slavery, a collection of modern-day slave narratives.
